We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled interns to join our dynamic team in modernizing our custom ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software. This project involves upgrading the software to the latest versions of C#, .NET framework, and Microsoft SQL Server. The interns will work closely with our experienced software engineering team to redesign, develop, and implement new features and enhancements that align with our company’s evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Code Development and Optimization: Assist in rewriting and optimizing existing C# codebase to be compatible with the latest .NET framework.
- Database Management: Work on upgrading and maintaining the Microsoft SQL Server database, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
- Testing and Debugging: Participate in testing the updated system for functionality, performance, and security. Identify and fix bugs in a timely manner.
- Documentation: Help in documenting the software development process, including code changes, database modifications, and deployment procedures.
- Collaboration and Learning: Actively participate in team meetings and collaborate with senior developers, gaining insights into software development best practices.
Required Skills:
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Programming Knowledge: Proficient in C# and familiar with the .NET framework.
- Database Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and understanding of database design.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ERP Systems: Prior exposure to ERP software development or maintenance is a plus.
- Version Control: Familiarity with version control tools, such as Git.
- Agile Methodology: Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
