Batimix Epoxy 200 MV

Epoxy adhesive - High modulus - Medium viscosity

Description

BATIMIX Epoxy 200 MV is a 100% reactive, two-component material. It is designed as a moisture insensitive adhesive and binder for numerous application needs. This high modulus material is available in a low viscosity (LV), medium viscosity (MV), or high viscosity (Gel) consistency. BATIMIX Epoxy 200 MV provides a faster cure time for bonding concrete at temperatures ranging from 1°C to 16°C.

Main Purpose

BATIMIX Epoxy 200 MV is a multi-purpose product. It is suitable for the following applications:

  • General adhesive
  • Coating for bonding toppings.
  • Production of repair mortars by mixing with sand.
  • Anchoring bolts, dowels, and pins

For priming and sealing applications at temperatures exceeding 25°C, the medium viscosity product (MV) is more suitable than the LV product. It is not recommended for use as a surface sealer over new concrete or if substrate temperatures are less than 0°C.

Features

BATIMIX Epoxy 200 MV exhibits the following characteristics:

  • High early strength at low temperatures
  • Excellent adhesive for bonding together concrete, steel, ceramic, or wood.
  • Forms a tough, wear and chemical resistant coating for industrial floor slabs
  • Easy to use mix ratios by volume
  • Working time and cure time will decrease as temperatures increase, and conversely increase as temperatures decrease

BATIMIX Epoxy 200 MV is mixed with sand or other aggregates to produce epoxy repair mortars and epoxy repair concrete. Mix the epoxy resin unit (part A) with the hardener unit (part B) before adding the aggregate. Trowel the mortar into place. If the surface is too rough, a topcoat of either BATIMIX Epoxy 200 LV or BATIMIX Epoxy 200 MV can be applied.

Dosage

The mix ratio of component A:B is 2:1 by volume

Available Packages

  • Two components in metallic pails of 3.8 liters and 11.4 liters
