Batimix Tile Adhesive R-462

Reaction resin tile adhesive with reduced slip

Description

BATIMIX Tile Adhesive R-462 is an ultra-high-performance three-component epoxy tile adhesive product exhibiting reduced slip characteristics. The powder component (A) is a blend of fillers and fine-graded silica sand, whereas the liquid resin (B) and liquid hardener (C) components are specifically proportioned to enhance durability and bonding strength.

Main Purpose

BATIMIX Tile Adhesive R-462 is used to achieve ultra-high-performance and reduced slip properties, which are often sought when fixing large-size natural and reconstructed tiles, and stones, both inside or outside. It waterproofs and achieves increased resistance to abrasion and chemical attack from diluted acids, alkalis, solvents, or oils.

It is suitable for residential and industrial structures that are likely to be subjected to great impacts, vibrations, dimensional variations, and deforming problems.

It is applied on concrete, cement-based plasters, screeds, hollow blocks, and gypsum boards. Tiling over existing tiles, metal, PVC, wood, and various other materials is also done, albeit after testing for appropriateness.

Features

BATIMIX Tile Adhesive R-462 has the following characteristics:

  • High quality and durable tiling can be achieved in a clean and speedy manner
  • Mixing the 3 components leads to a highly cohesive and easy troweling product with consistently the same fresh and hardened properties
  • Large-size and heavy tiles or stones can be laid on vertical surfaces
  • Limited shrinkage and extremely high bonding and mechanical strengths
